...COLD TEMPERATURES AND WIND WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
LATE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING...
The combination of temperatures dropping into the single digits
below zero, and northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph will produce wind
chill readings to around 20 below zero at times late tonight into
Tuesday morning. The lowest wind chills will occur between 500 am
and 900 am Tuesday. Wind chill readings this low indicate exposed
skin can suffer frostbite in as little as 30 minutes.
If you are going to be outdoors late tonight or Tuesday morning,
wear a hat and gloves and dress in layers to protect yourself from
the cold.
